2022 In Review
First and foremost, we would like to wish everyone safe and happy holiday as we enter 2023 together. We would also like to thank everyone for their continued support throughout this past year.
As we wrap up 2022 at Moberg Analytics, we want to reflect on some of the many outstanding accomplishments from our (now) 20+ person team.
We kicked off the year with a Grand Opening party at the company’s new facility, welcoming many old and new supporters of our effort to change the world.
The company safely and successfully transitioned from fully remote work at the start of the year to hybrid and then to completely in person. The culture continues to flourish with many new employees exploring the lively immediate area around the Philadelphia office, including our favorite restaurants and bars.
Midway through April, we received a $1 million contract from the U.S. Army to develop AI-based guidance on the battlefield. We have partnered with over a dozen device companies to determine the deployability of brain monitoring technology to the battlefield for use in austere settings.
In June, our work describing the current barriers in neurocritical care with data harmonization and interoperability was published as a special issue on Big Data in the journal Neurocritical Care.
During the month of October, we exhibited at the International Conference on Spreading Depolarizations (ICSD) in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Neurocritical Care Society (NCS) annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas. At NCS, four of our employees presented their work at a poster session (Ethan Moyer, Meghan Willner, Kayleigh Kenny, and Victoria Gruen).
On November 7th, our first product, Moberg CONNECT, was officially registered with the FDA as a Class I Medical Device Data System. This tool is the result of a four-year $4.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense to develop a “New Medical Record for the Brain” to enable precision medicine for brain-injured patients.
