Dick attended the annual Medica trade fair in Dusseldorf. We ran into Dan Rodenhaver from NIRSense showing their non-invasive monitoring technology. The timing of the event was perfect as it overlapped with the Cologne Karnival an annual event where the city goes crazy. Dick teamed up with some Burning Man friends to enjoy the event.

ICSD
Antalya, Turkey || November 13-17, 2024
This year the International Conference on Spreading Depolarizations (ICSD) was held from November 13 to 17 off the northern coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the beautiful town of Antalya, Turkey at an all-inclusive tropical resort.

Dr. Jed Hartings’ exciting presented preliminary results from the Improving Neurotrauma by Depolarization Inhibition with Combination Therapy (INDICT) trial, indicating that ketamine might potentially serve as a therapeutic to suppress spreading depolarizations and improve patient outcome.
ICSD 2025 was announced to be held near Windsor Castle in the UK from December 8 to 11.
