Marketing and Communications Manager
Hi! I’m Olivia (Liv), Moberg Analytics’ Marketing and Communications Manager! I began working here over a year ago. When I first started, I had just moved to Philadelphia; the company and its wonderful team provided me with instant community in a city that was at first a stranger to me.
My role encompasses nearly everything you can imagine might be under the umbrella of “marketing,” and I love it all! One of my favorite opportunities so far has been the company rebrand and redesign of our website (which will have another new look very soon). Day-to-day, I brainstorm and implement product marketing, manage our newsletter, perform lit reviews of topics relevant to neurocritical care AI, run our social media, perform engagement analytics, ensure our webinars run smoothly, assist in tradeshow planning, create graphic design and marketing materials, and fill in where the team needs assistance.
Moberg Analytics has allowed me to harness skills that I may not have otherwise had the chance to. As an environmental science/biology major, marketing was very new to me, but the fast-paced, supportive environment of a startup was the perfect setting to pick up new skills and find my place. I feel lucky to work at such a dynamic company and learn from my talented coworkers and witness their individual talents – from software engineering, to regulatory affairs, to sales, and beyond.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors, hiking and obsessing over the plant and mushroom species I find along the way. I tend to stop every 15 seconds to look at the birds and squirrels. It takes a long time to hike when you stop and take pictures of every patch of moss, but I’d have it no other way. I’m also a huge music aficionado – I sing, play piano and guitar, and write music. I love working out and cooking new vegan recipes. I’m very passionate about oceanography and biodiversity conservation, so I read a lot on latest developments. When I’m too lazy to do these things, I love sitting down to rewatch Game of Thrones for the nth time.
