Craig Maddux graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor’s in Information Systems. At Moberg Analytics, Craig is responsible for setting the technical direction in the development and deployment of our products. He works closely with our customers to ensure we are developing the tools they need to improve patient outcomes.
Craig has had a long career as a programmer, database administrator, and data engineer. He spent over 20 years in sales engineering at IBM in the areas of big data, machine learning, and cloud. Craig was introduced to the world of neurotrauma and met Dick Moberg over the course of a streaming analytics project they worked on together for Dr. Paul Vespa of UCLA. In 2022, Craig “retired” from IBM to pursue this passion project full-time at Dick’s new company.
In his spare time, Craig completed a master’s degree in Cinematography & Screen Writing at Staffordshire University, UK. He and his wife relocated from San Francisco to Portland, Oregon in the fall of 2021 and are taking advantage of all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. They love outdoor activities and are getting used to doing them all in the rain. When it rains or snows too hard, Craig can be found at the local Irish pub. He is learning to play traditional Irish music on the Irish bouzouki.
