KC Brennan (University of Utah) and his colleagues did a great job organizing ICSD 2022. The next meeting will be in Szeged, Hungary, in 2023. The Neuro Science Monitor will announce the dates when they have been determined.
Jed Hartings showed his new OpenSD software that scores and automatically identifies spreading depolarizations. We are happy to report that we will be working with Jed on this project!
Brain Tsunami Craft Beer made another appearance at the meeting.
Neurocritical Care Society (NCS) Annual Meeting
San Antonio, TX || October 17-21, 2022
For the first time since 2019, the annual NCS meeting felt normal as we met with long-time friends in San Antonio.
Attendance was way up at NCS 2022, and there was a sea of posters to walk through. Micromed and Moberg Analytics exhibited side-by-side. It was wonderful to see many of our friends for the first time in a while. Four of our student interns had abstracts accepted. For three of them, It was their first-ever poster presentation. We are very proud of them.
The next meeting will be in Phoenix, Arizona from August 15-18, 2023.
