International Conference for Post Traumatic Epilepsy
Nassau Inn in Princeton | May 3-6
The International Conference for Post Traumatic Epilepsy was held May 3-6 at the Nassau Inn in Princeton. Sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania, it brought attendees from around the world to discuss advances in post traumatic epilepsy and I was able to meet with many friends. Though close to our intergalactic headquarters in Philadelphia, it had been many decades since I visited Princeton. It’s a beautiful spot that oozes intelligence.
Ksenia Kriukova, MD and Dick
Eddy Amorim, MD PhD
Ramon Diaz-Arrastia MD PhD and Kan Ding MD in front of the Nassau Inn.
Nancy Tempkin PhD with Ramon. Nancy was awarded the Lifetime Achievement in PTE Research Award at the meeting.
I was surprised to meet my old friend Sid Hinds, MD at this meeting. I knew Sid from many years ago when he was the National Director of the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center. He is now working in sports-related brain health. After the meeting Sid joined us for dinner in Philly.
The Nassau Inn had a room specifically for me and others my age..
