AHA/Resuscitation Science Symposium (RESS 2023) & Headquarters Open House
November 11-12, 2023

The Resuscitation Science Symposium (RESS 2023) was held just before the American Heart Association meeting in Philadelphia this November, right in our hometown.  We got together with many of our friends at the SIREN lunch, at our Open House, and at restaurants and bars. The ReSS 2023 meeting was a short walk from our Intergalactic Headquarters, and we passed next to the iconic Philly Love statue where we got a pic of Ethan Moyer and Craig Maddux. We later had a party at my (Dick’s) house afterwards, and it was great to see those who joined.

He is currently at the Dept. of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University where he is an Adjunct Professor. Dr. Bӧsel is the conference chair of the 2024 ANIM meeting (German Neurointensive Care Meeting), which is having a joint meeting with the Neurocritical Care Society in February 2024 in Kassel, Germany.

L to R: Julian Bösel, Ethan Moyer, Meghan Willner, Olivia Fey, Dick Moberg, Kayleigh Kenny

In Dick’s conversation with Dr. Bösel, the two discuss the differences between European and American neurological institutes, the role of the German Society of Neurocritical Care and Emergency Medicine (DGNI), and the challenges and future of neurocritical care. Tune in for an insightful exploration into the field of neurology!
